Local Beauty Brand Catapults Itself to Hollywood

Calgary based frilly lilly hits the small screen in five network television series

(Calgary, AB - 2008) - The beauty confections of Calgary boutique brand frilly lilly will be featured on the sets of major television series. A variety of the brand's beauty products are appearing on Pushing Daisies (ABC), Gossip Girl (CW) and Privileged (CW). Two new series currently in production, Eastwick (ABC) and Legally Mad (NBC), have also selected the line to grace their sets.

A departure from typical product placement, frilly lilly products will have a subtle but strategic place on screen to compliment props and visual elements of the set design. "The products have a signature look that is a perfect fit in the set design of these shows. I knew they would look for unique items, the 'next big thing' to incorporate into the sets, and we were lucky when frilly lilly caught the eye of a TV exec at our gifting suite at the Golden Globes." describes founder Debra Van Dyke.

Look for the signature pink paisley pattern of frilly lilly's product line in places like bedrooms, bathrooms and spas throughout episodes. Items selected from the line include the signature Bathcakes™ and jars of the bestselling Sugar Lilly Body Butter. Appearances have already been made on screen, and will continue to cover ongoing episodes and seasons based on the settings and storylines of each show.

The creative minds behind frilly lilly are thrilled at the latest high-level publicity the brand has garnered, and continue to be amazed as they receive recognition from Hollywood elite. Their already extensive portfolio of stars has been rapidly growing, picking up interest from Lindsay Lohan, Hillary and Hayley Duff, and most recently Disney actress Selena Gomez in an interview with Seventeen Magazine.

frilly lilly is currently available at Kitson in Beverly Hills, Wynn Las Vegas Apothecary, Studio at Fred Segal in Santa Monica, select boutiques in Canada and the U.S., and online at www.frillylilly.ca.
